Jerome Gillespie grew up in Houston and trained at HSPVA before moving to NYC to study at The New School and Manhattan School of Music. His work blends experimental elements across genres into emotive, jazz-centered fusions. He has worked with Reggie Workman, Frank Lacy, Bobby Watson, Valery Ponomarev, Mark Gross, and Antonio Hart.
