Willie Pipkin’s sound is rooted in the blues but stretches into bluegrass, swing, rock ’n’ roll and other roots music. Expect tight playing and a rotating cast of excellent local musicians joining him — he often brings the cream of the crop as sidemen and guests for a varied, high-energy set.

The Continental Club’s last Sunday of the month is often Country night, frequently featuring Lucas Hudgins, Emily Hello & Beth Chrisman.
