Jerry Z Trio

Jerry Z Trio brings soulful Hammond B3 grooves to Austin. New to the city, Jerry Z is a Hammond B3 organist and composer known for fiery solos and an innovative blend of jazz, blues and funk. Hes best known for work with The Headhunters and Oz Noy and has recorded and toured with noted players including Mike Clark, Melvin Sparks, Delbert McClinton and Donald Harrison.

Expect tight trio interplay, improvisational energy and deep pocket grooves—music that ranges from soul-jazz to funky, organ-driven jazz-blues. This performance takes place at the Elephant Room in downtown Austin (315 Congress Avenue).
