Dreadneck Wednesdays

Dreadneck Wednesdays is a weekly reggae night at Flamingo Cantina featuring the Mau Mau Chaplains, a seasoned reggae/ska outfit known for four-part harmonies, a driving reggae beat, and a full horn section courtesy of the Tijuana Train Wreck.

The show has been a staple of Austin’s Sixth Street scene for years and pairs live music with authentic Jamaican food prepared by Winston’s Kitchen. Performances typically start at 9:00 PM on Wednesdays (check the venue for weekly schedule updates).

Streaming & Broadcast: Flamingo Cantina streams many Wednesday performances on its Facebook and YouTube channels (typically beginning around 10:30 PM).
