Nether Hour is an Austin-based band blending Louisiana and Texas-style funk, blues, soul, and rock & roll. Formed during SXSW 2018, the group has become a staple of the local scene and released the 2023 studio album Rattlesnake Gumbo.

Louisiana Surf Department is a swampadelic-country-rock outfit formed in Austin on January 1, 2024, fronted by John Core (lead vocals, electric guitar). The band features Brian Bounds (drums), James T. Carter (bass, backing vocals), and Markus Shudawgy Williams (guitar).
