Everyone Orchestra — 8th Annual Weekend Gathering

Everyone Orchestra — 8th Annual Weekend Gathering returns to the Charleston Pour House for two nights of fully improvised, conductor-led collective music. Each show features a rotating cast of world-class players guided by Matt Butler; expect high-energy grooves, jazzy and funky passages, soulful songs, and spontaneous musical moments you won’t hear anywhere else.

This weekend includes two Everyone Orchestra sets each night (Friday and Saturday), with a curated lineup that includes Anders Beck (Greensky Bluegrass), Luke Black (Mountain Grass Unit), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits), Torrin Daniels (Kitchen Dwellers), Cris Jacob, Mike Healy (Papadosio), Rob McConnell (Papadosio), Kevin & John Shields (Little Stranger — Sat. night only), Elise Testone, and more to be announced.

What to expect: improvisation driven by Matt Butler’s whiteboard cues and conducting, danceable grooves, and completely unique performances each set. Over 20 years and thousands of guest musicians, Everyone Orchestra creates one-of-a-kind shows that blend funk, jazz, electronic, and Americana influences.

Venue: Charleston Pour House — Main Stage. Doors at 8:00 PM, shows typically start around 9:00 PM each night.
