HOME BY DARK — a nationally acclaimed concert experience combining unforgettable songs with the stories that inspired them — comes to Gas South Theater on January 30, 2026. This milestone 20th anniversary run features Tony Arata, the songwriter behind Garth Brooks’ iconic hit "The Dance."

Arata’s songs have been recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood, and more. Expect a storytelling-driven set that pairs songs with the personal narratives that shaped them.
