The Blues Specialists are an Austin, TX–based band founded by blues veterans TD Bell and Erbie Bowser. Active for over three decades, the group performs traditional Texas jump blues with a touch of jazz, drawing on the legacy of T-Bone Walker. Current lineup: Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar), Isaac Bratchett (drums). Friday Happy Hour since January 1988.
