David Grissom

David Grissom is a veteran guitarist who has toured and recorded with Buddy Guy, John Mellencamp, Joe Ely, Storyville, The Allman Brothers Band, The Dixie Chicks, Chris Isaak, Robben Ford, John Mayall, and Ringo Starr. His songs have been recorded by John Mayall, Rita Coolidge, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack, and Storyville. Based in Austin since 1983, Grissom has played with Joe Ely, joined John Mellencamp’s band, and later co-founded Storyville. He has contributed to numerous recordings, toured extensively, and released solo work, most recently the live album Trio Live 2020.
