If the Hood last name sounds familiar, it’s with good reason: the family includes Champ Hood (original member of the acclaimed Uncle Walt’s Band and longtime guitarist for Lyle Lovett) and fiddler-composer Warren Hood (The Waybacks, The Bodeans, and Warren Hood and the Goods). Marshall Hood, the youngest of the Hood line, brings effortless guitar work and finely crafted songs that often echo his family’s legacy while transcending genre.
