If the surname Hood rings a bell, that’s because Marshall comes from a celebrated musical family: Champ Hood (original member of Uncle Walt’s Band and longtime guitarist for Lyle Lovett) and Warren Hood (fiddler/composer for The Waybacks and Warren Hood and the Goods). Marshall carries on that legacy with effortless guitar work and charming, genre-transcending songs that often recall his uncle’s style. Expect keen lyrics and subtly catchy melodies.
