Money Chicha is an Austin-based group featuring members of Grammy-winning Latin orchestra Grupo Fantasma and the funk outfit Brownout. They deliver a fuzzed-out, reverb-drenched, percussion-heavy sound inspired by the psychedelic cumbia and tropical styles of Peru and Colombia from the 1960s and 1970s. Expect high-energy, danceable grooves and vintage tropical tones.
