Marshall Hood continues the Hood family legacy — his playing and songwriting recall the tasteful roots and melodic sensibility of his uncle Champ Hood and relatives like Warren Hood, while remaining distinctly his own. His songs move across genres with a keen lyrical sense and subtly catchy melodies that make them easy to hum along to.
