Luke Schneider
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Luke Schneider is a pedal steel guitarist based in Tennessee whose work moves between Outlaw Country, indie/DIY, and experimental scenes. His debut solo album Altar of Harmony (Third Man Records) and upcoming 2026 releases—an EP For Dancing in Quiet Light (Leaving Records) and a duo record A Companion for the Spaces Between Dreams (Northern Spy Records)—highlight his cinematic ambient approach to pedal steel.
with Saapato and Speech
Saapato (Brendan Principato) creates electronic soundscapes built from manipulated field recordings, exploring ecology through immersive live performance and site-specific work. His practice includes residencies with the National Park Service and releases on several experimental labels.
Speech is the Asheville duo Steve Pescatore (bass, electronics) and Chris Hamilton (guitar, electronics). Their collaborative work blends synthesized percussion, processed guitars, and layered textures that oscillate between rhythm and space.
