Kick Butt Open Mic is a long-running open mic featuring poetry, music, and performances of all kinds, hosted by Hot Tamale, Lost In Thought, and Ernie B. Sign-up is first-come, first-served — talk to Hot Tamale or Lost In Thought to get on the list. The show starts at 7:00 PM and runs until 10:00 PM.

The mic was founded by Element315 and has expanded to include a wide variety of local performers. Expect a rotating lineup of poets, singers, and musicians in an intimate, community-focused setting. Free — no cover. Full bar on site serving wine, beer, and liquor.
