The Blues Specialists

The Blues Specialists are an Austin-based band formed by blues veterans TD Bell and Erbie Bowser. The group has performed across the U.S. and abroad for more than three decades. Current members include original bandleader Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar), and Isaac Bratchett (drums). Their sound is traditional Texas jump blues with a touch of jazz, rooted in the T-Bone Walker tradition.
