The Blues Specialists are an Austin-based band founded by blues veterans TD Bell and Erbie Bowser. The current lineup includes original member/bandleader Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar), and Isaac Bratchett (drums). Their sound draws on the legacy of T-Bone Walker and classic Texas jump blues.
