The Blues Specialists are an Austin-based blues band formed by local legends TD Bell and Erbie Bowser. With a history spanning more than three decades, the group performs traditional Texas jump blues with a touch of jazz, rooted in the sounds of T-Bone Walker. Current members include original bandleader Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar), and Isaac Bratchett (drums).
