The Blues Specialists are an Austin-based band founded by blues legends T.D. Bell and Erbie Bowser. Active for decades, the group plays traditional Texas jump blues with a touch of jazz, rooted in the style of T-Bone Walker. Current lineup includes original member and bandleader Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar), and Isaac Bratchett (drums).
