Forte Jazz Lounge presents an evening of vocal jazz celebrating standards from the Great American Songbook — selections by Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, George & Ira Gershwin, Duke Ellington and more. Local jazz vocalist Alva Anderson performs material associated with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and Billie Holiday as part of the venue’s Thursday night vocal jazz series.
