David Grissom

David Grissom performs a set of guitar-driven Americana and rock at The Saxon Pub. He has toured and recorded with artists including Buddy Guy, John Mellencamp, Joe Ely, Storyville, The Allman Brothers Band, The Dixie Chicks, Chris Isaak, Robben Ford, John Mayall, and Ringo Starr. His songs have been recorded by John Mayall, Rita Coolidge, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack, and Storyville. Based in Austin since 1983, Grissom has played with Joe Ely and John Mellencamp, co-founded Storyville, and has contributed to numerous recordings and signature gear designs with PRS Guitars. His most recent solo release is Trio Live (2020).
