Chuck Prophet’s new collaborative album with cumbia group ¿Qiensave? — Wake The Dead — was released in October on Yep Roc Records. The project finds Prophet exploring Cumbia rhythms and textures alongside elements of rock, punk, surf, and soul. The result is an energetic, dance-forward set that balances celebration and reflection, informed by Prophet’s recent health challenges and recovery.
