Los Skarnales — active since 1994 and rooted in Texas’ punk and roots scenes — performs a high-energy blend of ska, reggae, rockabilly, cumbia and danzones with a punk attitude. They have toured widely across the U.S. and Mexico and shared stages with acts such as Flaco Jimenez, Ozomatli, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, the Aggrolites and the Specials.
Tremolocos’ Tony Zamora comes from a Los Angeles musical family and draws on West Coast and Mexican folk traditions, bringing a roots-forward sound to the stage.
Special guest Tropicana Joe — a music award–winning DJ and ambassador of the Exotica sound — will spin only 45 RPM vintage vinyl records.
