Eve Monsees & Mike Buck – Early time!

Eve Monsees picked up her first guitar at 12 and soon began playing the blues alongside schoolmate Gary Clark Jr., sitting in on jams around Austin and earning her own gigs as a teenager. She founded The Exiles with Mike Buck and has played in several bands, including a stint with the Bluebonnets.

Drummer Mike Buck brings decades of Texas roots experience, having been a founding member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds and later joining the LeRoi Brothers and Big Guitars From Texas. He’s played with Eve in Eve and the Exiles since the early 2000s.

They are often joined by Amsterdam-born guitarist Tjarko Jeen, known for his roots-music Telecaster work.
