AJS Presents: Glenn Rexach Quartet — a live-taping, listening-room concert at Monks in Austin. Expect intricate original compositions, seasoned improvisation, and a tight quartet groove featuring Glenn Rexach on guitar, Ben Irom on piano, Billy Satterwhite on bass, and Mike Gordon on drums.

Glenn Rexach is a long-standing fixture on the Austin music scene with three recordings under his name, including the group’s latest release, PanaRican. His credits include performances with Eddie Harris, Eddie Palmieri, Gary Clark Jr., Carolyn Wonderland, and many others, and the group has appeared at regional jazz festivals and notable venues across Texas.

Practical info: Doors 7:45 PM, show starts 8:00 PM. This is a live taping; a whisper-policy will be enforced. The venue is BYOB (cold bottled still and sparkling water available for purchase; ice, wine keys and 9oz cups provided).
