Bidwell/Marshall Quintet

Live-taping & listening-room concert featuring the Bidwell/Marshall Quintet — Stephen Bidwell (drums), Jaron Marshall (piano), Elias Haslanger (saxophone), Erik Telford (trumpet), and Sam Pankey (bass). Bidwell and Marshall, known for anchoring the rhythm section of Austin’s Grammy-nominated Black Pumas, revisit hard bop and soulful early-ʼ60s Blue Note sounds for a set that grooves as hard as it swings.

This performance will be recorded live in a listening-room setting. A whisper policy will be enforced during the taping. Cold still and sparkling water will be available for purchase; the event is BYOB (ice, wine keys, and 9oz cups provided).
