Dreadneck Wednesdays

Dreadneck Wednesdays is a weekly reggae night at Flamingo Cantina starring the Mau Mau Chaplains — a seasoned reggae/ska outfit known for tight four-part harmonies and a full horn section. Expect driving reggae rhythms, lively horns (featuring members of Tijuana Train Wreck), and authentic Jamaican food from Winston’s Kitchen.

Doors/showtime: 9:00 PM — late (event runs into the early morning; this occurrence starts 2026-02-04 at 9:00 PM and concludes 2:00 AM on 2026-02-05). Cover: $5. Ages 21+.

If you can’t attend in person, the show streams starting around 10:30 PM on Flamingo Cantina’s Facebook and YouTube. A broadcast segment airs on Austin Music TV / Austin Public Access (11:00 PM–11:30 PM).
