Tashi Dorji is a Bhutanese-born, Asheville-based experimental guitarist known for intuitive improvisation and a wide-ranging collaborative practice. His work employs alternate tunings and prepared-guitar techniques to create expansive solo and ensemble sounds across avant-garde and free-jazz contexts.
