Open Mic Performer Sign-Ups

Performer sign-ups only: This page is for Open Mic performers. Online sign-ups open at 11:00 AM CST—add a slot to your cart when they become available. There are 18 slots for this date; to give more writers a chance, participants are asked not to sign up for two consecutive Open Mic shows.

Each registered writer may perform 1–2 original songs, solo or with up to two accompanists. Drums and backing tracks are not allowed. The Bluebird Cafe provides a Taylor Grand Pacific guitar and a Kawai 88-key digital piano for performers to use. Performers may bring one guest.

Performers must be at the club and checked in with the host by 5:15 PM on the Monday of the show in order to perform. Existing Play Next Time timestamps will be honored; no new Play Next Time stamps will be issued.

Guest seating is not reserved in advance and is available on a first-come, first-served basis when doors open; you may be seated with people outside your immediate party.
