The Blues Specialists are an Austin-based band formed from the legacy of local blues legends TD Bell and Erbie Bowser. Active for over three decades, the group plays traditional Texas jump blues with a touch of jazz, drawing on influences like T-Bone Walker.

Current lineup: Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar), and Isaac Bratchett (drums).
