The Blues Specialists are an Austin-based jump-blues band founded by TD Bell and Erbie Bowser. The current lineup includes original member and bandleader Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar) and Isaac Bratchett (drums). Their sound draws from traditional Texas jump blues with jazz influences and the legacy of T-Bone Walker.
