The Blues Specialists

The Blues Specialists bring traditional Texas jump blues with a touch of jazz to The Continental Club. Expect upbeat horn-driven arrangements, harmonica-led vocals, and soulful organ grooves from a band rooted in Austin blues history. The current lineup features original bandmember and bandleader Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar), and Isaac Bratchett (drums).

When: 6:30 PM (July 17, 2026). No cover! 21+ only. Friday Happy Hour since January 1988.
