The Blues Specialists are an Austin, TX–based band founded by blues veterans TD Bell and Erbie Bowser. The current lineup includes original member and bandleader Mel Davis (vocals, harmonica, sax), Lawrence Bell (organ/bass), Rob Richardson (guitar), and Isaac Bratchett (drums). Their sound is traditional Texas jump blues with a touch of jazz, rooted in the T-Bone Walker tradition.
