The Jazz Purveyor Presents: The Summer Camargo Quartet

The Summer Camargo Quartet — live taping and listening-room concert presented by The Jazz Purveyor. Trumpeter and bandleader Summer Camargo performs music from her debut album To Whom I Love, backed by Ross Margitza (piano), Gerry Gibbs (drums), and Billy Satterwhite (bass).

Summer Camargo is a Juilliard-trained trumpeter and composer who has performed at Dizzy’s, Birdland, the Newport Jazz Festival and with the Mingus Big Band. Her debut album on Blue Engine Records received attention from DownBeat and other outlets.
